Leaflets distributed to mail boxes instruct civilians how to prepare sealed spaces against unconventional weapons, stock basic food supplies (to last a week), how to handle stress and children. Earlier reports suggest this is an indication that the American attack on Iraq is immanent

They did not wait long. The day after the elections orange colored leaflets full of illustrations and written in the authoritative tone of military PR. The 52 page leaflet, produced by the military Home Front Command, and titled “In the event of live sirens: information on civil protection for the family.”
