Sharon's government has initiated bloodshed on a Bosnian scale. A gigantic army tramples over a small nation. Soldiers performing mass arrests, scaring little children, humiliating their parents, fostering a new generation of suicide bombers, and ensuring the continuation of the conflict for posterity.

The occupation will kill us all.

But this war is the Peace of the Settlements War. No amount of demagogy can ever obscure this meaning. It has no motive but the wish to rule and dispossess the Palestinians using the military and the settlers.

We do not want a life of perpetual war. This may be our last chance. Let us form a large popular movement in order to achieve what the politicians have failed to achieve:

Get the army out of the Occupied Territories.

Dismantle all settlements.

Divide Jerusalem.

Resolve the refugee problem justly through mutual consent.
